About Black Light Photography: Black Light Photography began in Houlton, Maine in 2005.
The name Black Light Photography was chosen because of the amount of time spent photographing metal shows for bands. Originally the business did pictures for local metal bands from: Houlton, ME Orono, ME Presque Isle, ME Milo, ME Bangor, ME Augusta, ME and a few out of state bands that would come up from Massachusetts to play with the locals. Most of the shows that Black Light Photography has worked at were thrown by Supporting The Cause, a local business dedicated to supporting local bands and giving the youth a safe place to have an awesome time! You can check them out on the links page. Bands such as Tomorrow's Tragedy, Disaster Complex, and more, became regulars of Black Light Photography's services and are still to this day when in the same area. In October of 2008 Black Light Photography moved it's location to the
Hampton Roads area of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
While doing work for people at concerts has been a favorite for us, it is not our only line of work. We also do a number of other services which include, but are not limited to: Burlesque, portraits, senior portraits, family reunions, sports teams group photos, weddings, births, pet portraits, artistic nude, and most events.
